The Problem With Mpreg and Regular Preg

I'm a huge fan of mpreg. I love seeing guys get knocked up by other guys. I don't why but I do. I especially love my favorite anime characters get knocked up. But as a budding geneticist and heredity obsessed freak I do not like all the mistakes writers and artists make when assigning hair, eye, and skin color. I will be using both mpreg and regular preg. Most of these examples will be Naruto because that is the second biggest result on fanfiction.net when you type mpreg in search.

Let's say Sasuke gets Naruto pregnant(I'm a major SasuNaru shipper btw) and nine months later Naruto pops out a baby girl (Because I'm a fan of Overprotective!Sasuke). Most writers make the little girl have Sasuke's blueish black hair and Naruto's sparkling blue eyes. Wrong! The SasuNaru spawn can't have blue eyes because Sasuke's black eyes are more dominant.

Let's use B for Sasuke's black eyes and b for Naruto's blue ones. B is more dominant than b. The Uchiha clan has to be the most homogeneous family in anime(Homogeneous meaning they all look alike). Everyone has black hair and blue eyes the only difference being some of them are tanner. Sasuke has BB for his eyes because both his dad and mom have black eyes.

Naruto has bb because both his mom and dad have blue eyes. The spawn would have Bb the dominant one that appears is Sasuke's black eyes and the recessive ones that are still there just not showing are Naruto's blue eyes. Sasuke and Naruto's grandchild could have blue eyes if the daughter we mention married someone with blue eyes or who carried the blue eye trait(Or allele if you prefer the more scientific term).

Sasuke and Naruto's child would also have black hair. Most writers and artists do a good job of making the child have black hair but I have seen a few blondies and redheads. Mikoto and Fugaku(Sasuke's mom and dad) had black hair. Mikoto had a blueish tint and Fugaku was jet black. Sasuke's has his mom's blueish black hair. Now Sasuke's hair code(I have no idea if they call it that but let's stick with it for now) is bb(I'm also using B and b for hair and probably everything else). Blueish black being recessive because it's impossible to have blueish black hair. It's possible to have black hair so black that it looks blue in some lights but Sasuke and Mikoto's are blueish black 24/7.

Kushina and Minato(Naruto's mom and dad) have hair much lighter than the Uchiha's. Kushina had red hair and Minato had blonde(Blonde is the same as blond just written differently. I wouldn't have included since it's off topic but people have asked me what is blonde). Blonde hair is dominant to red and recessive to everything else.

Naruto's code would be Bb. B is blonde and b is red. The SasuNaru spawn would have black hair. I know this may look confusing because of B in Naruto's code but like I said blonde is dominant when compared to red and recessive to everything else. The daughter would have Sasuke's blueish black hair but carry the blonde allele.

The only physical trait their daughter could have would be Naruto's tanner than Sasuke's skin. Sasuke is paler than a ghost and Naruto is relatively tan. Sasuke skin tone is bb which I don't get since Fugaku is tan but Fugaku must carry a pale allele. Naruto's skin tone is Bb. Kushina is pale and Minato is a tad bit darker(and the hottest dad to ever grace a manga or anime. Whew!).

Their daughter could either have Bb meaning tan but with the pale allele or bb meaning pale as a ghost.
If I see any more pale, blue eyed, blonde SasuNaru babies I might just kill myself.

The same thing happens in regular preg too! I will use SasuSaku as my example even though I hate that couple and would rather shoot myself than read a fanfic or see a fanart of them. But for the sake of regular preg fanfic and fanart mistakes why not?

I can't count how many fanfics and fanart have SasuSaku's spawn as pink haired and black eyed or green eyes and black hair. Green eyes and black hair seems to be more common. Pink hair isn't even real and while black hair and green eyes make for a very pretty combination they aren't going to be realistic because of the Uchiha clone genes.

So all you writers and artists next time you write mpreg or draw it or regular preg, think about this essay and how it tells truth about genetics and now what makes the prettiest offspring.
This is an essay where I describe the genetic faults inside mpreg and normal preg that writers and artists make.

That doesn't necessarily mean it CAN'T inherit those features. I have green eyes and literally NOBODY else in my family does. My boyfriend's mom has the dominant brown eyes, but he inherited a kind of golden color, exactly like his dad's, and his brother has hazel. Also, if you're talking about any fandom that doesn't depend on regular human genetics, it's not the same, is it? I don't know a thing about Naruto, but here's an example from the TF fandom, which has a LOT of Mpreg in it, for some reason: They are robots, not humans, so it's up to the author to decide what exactly their genome is. And then, in a lot of anime where the main characters have powers (like elemental or energy-based), how does that work? Predicting this in real life is one thing, but in fiction, it depends on how the mother and father's genetics work if they are not human, and often that's up to the writer.
